Ichihara Eriko studied metal work, while majoring in craft design at Bunka Womenfs University in Japan. She focused mainly on her production of jewelry during her college years, and managed to participate in several group exhibitions, sharing her work with other artists of different backgrounds, such as dyeing and fabric weaving.
After graduating, Eriko worked as a graphic/interior designer. She also earned a color coordinatorfs certificate during that time.
While studying in the United States, she found herself fascinated by the antique beads jewelry. She had always been found of pearls and precious stones, and the fact that she also was quite found of glass and crystals at her younger age added more fascination for the search of the ultimate creations of her own crystal beads jewelry.
Ichihara Eriko puts her own heart and soul into each and every piece she creates. Her selection of different colors and materials and her devotion towards excellence make her jewelry unique and sophisticated.
