ABE MIDORI is well known for her signature images of elegant flowers whose beautiful, brief, fragile nature suggest the evanescence of human life. This sensitive use of motifs from nature endows her work with that unique Japanese sense of 'mono no aware', or the 'ah-ness of things.' Included in this exhibition are her unique double-layered stereoscopic panels. She is an Associate Professor at Osaka Seikei University.
